Here we go, week 4 of my journey to a new, healthier me. I established this blog about 3 weeks ago but couldn't figure out how to put somethings on there and it frusterated me to no end. I shelved the project until today.
I've been 'fat' since i was a kid. i use the term loosely and unoffensively. I wasn't putting myself or others down i was just stating the truth.
I've tried many weight loss programs and gimmicks over the years and nothing has worked. I was finally at the point of having "lap banding surgery' done when i ran into a lady that is the cook at my kids childcare centre. I barely recognised her, she has lost 52 kilos since i've seen her last which is about a year ago. How did she do it? Weight Watchers!
I've tried it before, at least twice but it hasn't seemed to work. After a week or two i would just stop losing weight.
I spoke intensively with my hubby for once. I usually just go off and do these sport of things by myself, but i re alised if i was ever to succeed i would need his full support behind me. He agreed with my plan of rejoining WW and ditching the surgery idea, after all $5500 after private health care rebate is alot and would buy both of us a new wardrobe and a lovely weekend away.
So here we are off on our WW journey. Wish us luck.
